  THE COMMON APP
(Common Application)
for Fall 2009 applicants is now online. Please take a few minutes now to register for the Common App, read its FAQs to learn how it works, & play with some of the features, so you can get your questions answered before submission deadlines start hitting this fall.
Please note:
Some colleges' supplements may not yet be available via the Common App, but you should note which colleges require them.
To see which colleges accept the Common App, and which require supplements, click here.

2009
  COLLEGE REP VISITS
are a great way to get your questions answered, and to establish relationships with regional admissions officers (or staff of higher status!) who are often responsible for reading, and advocating for, our students' applications. Some colleges track students' "demonstrated interest", so attending a visit could be beneficial. To attend, you must do the following:
  At least a day
ahead --
Click here, print the form, fill it out, & obtain your teacher’s signature.
At the visit -- Bring this signed form with you -- you must present it at the start of the visit.
At end of visit -- A College Advisor will sign the form for you to return to your teacher.
Don't forget -- Give your name to a C&CC volunteer, for the Attendance Roster that excuses your absence from class.
And if you can't skip a class to meet with the rep of a college you're especially interested in, you're encouraged to leave a note with a college advisor to pass along to the reps.
